Who We Are
The address of our websites is: spectrly.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized hash may be created from your email address and provided to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. See Automattic Privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors could download and extract such data.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies (for one year).
If you log in, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies (no personal data, removed when you close the browser).
On login we set cookies for credentials and display options. Login cookies last two days, display options one year. “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved (no personal data; contains the post ID; expires after one day).
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Posts may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if the visitor had visited the other website.
Those sites may collect data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction — including if you have an account and are logged in on that website.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.
For registered users, we store personal data in profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (usernames cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.
Your Rights Regarding Your Data
If you have an account or left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data — including data you provided. You can also request erasure of personal data we hold, except data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Final Note
This policy ensures transparency about how we handle personal data and informs users of their rights in a clear, compliant manner.
